Corrections Corporation of America. The Group's principal activities are to own, operate and manage prisons and other correctional facilities. In addition, the Group offers a variety of rehabilitation and educational programs, including basic education, life skills and employment training and substance abuse treatment. As on 31-Dec-2007, the Group operated 64 facilities, including 44 owned-facilities, with a total design capacity of approximately 85,000 beds in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
