Kaiser Aluminum Corporation. The Group's principal activity is producing fabricated aluminum products. The operations of the Group are carried out through two segments: Fabricated Product and Primary aluminum. The Fabricated segment sells value-added products such as heat treat aluminum sheet and plate, extrusions and forgings which are used in a wide range of industrial applications, including for automotive, aerospace and general engineering end-use applications. The Primary aluminum business unit produces commodity grade products as wells as value-added products such as rod and billet, for which the Group receives a premium over normal commodity market prices and conducts hedging activities. The Group sell its products directly to end-use customers and distributors by its sales personnel located in the United States and Europe and by sales agents in Asia, Mexico and the Middle East.
