Eastern & Oriental Berhad(E&O). The Group's principal activities are developing and investing in residential and commercial properties. Other activities include management and operations of hotels and restaurants, as well as providing management services. It also operates as an investment holding company. During the fiscal year-ended March 31,2009, the Group launched subsequent phases at its master planned seafront development, Seri Tanjung Pinang. This included the final block of Acacia three-storey semi-detached homes, serviced Suites at Waterside and Ariza seafront terrace homes. In June 2009, the Group initially launched St. Mary Residences in Kuala Lumpur, a joint venture development with the Lion Group. Other development projects include Dua Residency, Seventy Damansara, Idamansara, Avalon, Acacia, Bungalow Parcels, Skye, Abrezza, Martinique and Suites At Waterside, which is to be completed by third quarter of 2010. Operations are carried out principally in Malaysia.
