Business Description
AZZ incorporated. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture electrical equipment and components and to provide galvanizing services. The Group operates through two segments: Electrical and Industrial Products and Galvanizing Services. Electrical and Industrial Products segment manufactures highly engineered specialty electrical product as well as lighting and tubular products. The specialty components are used in power generation, transmission and distribution. Lighting and tubular products are used in petrochemical and industrial applications. Galvanizing Services segment provides hot dip galvanizing services to the steel fabrication industry. This segment serves fabricators and manufacturers involved in the highway construction, electrical utility, transportation, water treatment, agriculture, petrochemical and chemical, pulp and paper industries and numerous original equipment manufacturers. The Group primarily operates in the United States.
