Business Description
Aerosonic Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell aircraft instruments to government and commercial users through its subsidiaries. It operates through four divisions: Clearwater Instruments, Aerosonic Wichita, Avionic Specialties and Precision Component Division. Clearwater Instruments manufactures altimeters, airspeed indicators, rate of climb indicators, microprocessor controlled air data test sets, and various other flight instrumentation. Avionics division maintains three product lines in the aircraft instrument segment: angle of attack stall warning systems; integrated multifunction probes, which are integrated air data sensors; and other aircraft sensors and monitoring systems. Precision Components division performs high volume precision machining of mechanical components. The products are sold to manufacturers of commercial and private aircraft, both domestic and foreign, and the United State military services.
