Business Description
American Italian Pasta Company. The Group's principal activity is to produce, manufacture, market and distribute dry pasta products in the United States and Continental Europe. It produces approximately 300 dry pasta shapes. Its production and distribution centers in North America are located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Columbia, South Carolina, Tolleson, Arizona, and Verolanuova and Italy. Major customers include Sysco, Sam's Wholesale Club and Wal-Mart, Inc. The Group products include long goods like spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine, angle hair and lasagna and short goods such as Elbow macaroni, mostaccioli, rigatoni, ziti and egg noodles. The products are sold and marketed through food brokers and distributors throughout the United States, Canada Mexico and Caribbean. The Group has registered AIPC, American Italian Pasta Company, Pasta LaBella, Montalcino, Calabria, Heartland, Mueller's, Anthony's, Globe/A-1, Luxury, Mrs. Grass, Pennsylvania Dutch, R and F and Roncoand law trademarks.
