Business Description
AmericanWest Bancorporation. The Group's principal activity is to provide retail banking, commercial banking and private banking. Commercial services include ACH origination, merchant bankcard services, remote capture, sweep accounts and currency services. Its deposit accounts designed to attract both short term and long term deposits. These accounts include checking accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, money market demand accounts, savings accounts and time deposits. Its other services include ATM and debit cards, pre-paid gift cards, wire transfers, official checks and money orders, online banking and bill payment, safe deposit boxes and night deposit boxes. At 31-Dec-2008, the Group had 64 banking locations including 36 in Eastern and Central Washington, 10 in Northern Idaho and 18 in Utah.
