Business Description
AMIS Holdings, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to design, develop, manufacture and market custom and semi-custom integrated circuits of high complexity. They operate in two segments: integrated mixed signal products and structured digital products. In integrated mixed signal products design and manufacture complex, customer specific, integrated mixed signal products. Structured digital products work with customers to provide mid-range ASIC solutions, including primarily FPGA to ASIC conversions. The markets of the Group are Alcatel, Delphi, Hella, , Siemens, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments. As of Dec-31-2006 Group held 108 U.S. patents and 111 foreign patents. On 08-Sep-2007 the group acquired Nanoamp Solutions.
