Business Description
Arvinmeritor, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to supply a broad range of integrated systems, modules and components serving light vehicle, commercial truck, trailer and specialty original equipment manufacturers and certain after markets. It operates through two segments Light Vehicle System and Commercial vehicle segment. Light Vehicle System: Supplies air and emissions systems and aperture systems. Commercial Vehicle System: Supplies drivetrain systems and components, braking systems and suspension systems. The Group operates 82 manufacturing facilities in 22 countries. International operations accounted for 59% of total sales. It owns registered trademarks such as ArvinMeritor(R), Arvin(R) and Meritor(R). In July 2008, the Group acquired Trucktechnic.
