Business Description
Atlas Pipeline Partners, L.P.. The Group's principal activity is to own and operate natural gas pipeline gathering systems. It has two segments: Mid-Continent and Appalachia. The Mid-Continent operations segment owns and operates a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulated, 565-mile interstate pipeline system, three natural gas processing plants, one treating facility and 900 miles of active natural gas gathering systems located in Oklahoma, Arkansas, northern Texas and the Texas panhandle. The Appalachian segment owns operates 1,835 miles of natural gas gathering systems located in eastern Ohio, western New York, western Pennsylvania and north-eastern Tennessee. These systems provide well owners with a means to transport natural gas from wells to public utility pipelines and on a smaller scale, directly to customers. The Group operates in the United States.
