Atlas Pipeline Holdings L P. The Group's principal activity is to provide transmission, gathering and processing of natural gas. It operates in two segments: Natural Gas Transmission, Gathering and Processing. Natural Gas segment operations located in the Appalachia Basin area. Its gathering systems consisted of over 1,835 miles of intrastate gathering systems located in eastern Ohio, western New York and western Pennsylvania. Transmission, Gathering and Processing segment operations located in the Mid-Continent area. Its gathering systems provide a means through which well owners and operators to transport the natural gas produced by their wells to interstate and public utility pipelines for delivery to customers and consisted of over 9,100 miles located in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Texas.
