Bioanalytical Systems, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide a contract development services and research equipment to leading global pharmaceutical, medical research and biotechnology companies and institutions. It operates in two principal segments: Research services and Research products. The Research services unit provides screening, pharmacological testing, preclinical safety testing, formulation development, clinical trials, regulatory compliance and quality control testing. The Research products unit provides liquid chromatography, electrochemical and physiological monitoring products to pharmaceutical companies, universities, government research centres and medical research institutions. The Group has network of 14 distributors covering Japan, the Pacific Basin, South America, the Middle East, India, South Africa and Eastern Europe.
