Biovest International, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop a personalized therapeutic anti-cancer vaccine for the treatment of low-grade Follicular Lymphoma (FL). FL is a deadly cancer of the white blood cells. It operates in three segments. The Cell Culture products and services are engaged in the production and contract manufacturing of biologic drugs and cell production for research institutions worldwide. The Instruments and Disposables segment is engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of patented cell culture systems, equipment and consumable parts to pharmaceutical, diagnostic and biotechnology companies, as well as leading research institutions worldwide. The Therapeutic Vaccine segment is focusing on developing BiovaxID. Its products are used by biopharmaceutical and biotech companies, medical schools, universities, research facilities, hospitals and public and private laboratories. The Group operates in the United States, Canada and Europe.
