Business Description
BJ's Restaurants, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is operating restaurants in the United Sates. It owns and operates 82 restaurants located in California, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Nevada, Ohio, Florida and Oklahoma. It also receives fees from one licensed restaurant in Lahaina, Maui. These restaurants operate as either a BJ's Restaurant and Brewery, a BJ's Pizza and Grill, a BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse or a Pietro's Pizza restaurant. The menus offered by the Group's restaurants include deep-dish pizza, BJ's own hand-crafted beers, appetizers, entrees, pastas, sandwiches, speciality salads and desserts. The ten BJ's Restaurant and Brewery restaurants have in-house brewing facilities where BJ's hand-crafted beers are produced. The Group purchases its food products from several wholesale distributors. The Group opened 15 restaurants in fiscal 2008.
