Business Description
Bristow Group Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide helicopter services to the worldwide offshore energy industry. The Helicopter Services operations are conducted through three divisions, Western Hemisphere, Eastern Hemisphere and Global Training and through ten business units within those divisions: Western Hemisphere, United States, Gulf of Mexico, Arctic, Latin America, Western Hemisphere Centralized Operations. Eastern Hemisphere, Europe, West Africa, Southeast Asia, Other International, Eastern Hemisphere Centralized Operations. Global Training, Bristow Academy. It provides helicopter services to a broad base of major integrated, national and independent oil and gas companies.As of 31-Mar-2009, it operated 384 aircraft (including 343 aircraft owned, 35 leased aircraft and 6 aircraft operated, 10 of the owned aircraft are held for sale) and its unconsolidated affiliates operated 119 aircraft in addition to those aircraft leased from them.
