Business Description
Bruker Corporation Formerly known as Bruker Biosciences Corporation. The Group's principal activities are designing, manufacturing and marketing life science systems, process analysis systems and analytical instruments. The Group conducts its operations through Bruker Daltonics which develops and provides innovative life-science tools based on mass spectrometry; Bruker AXS which develops and provides life science and advanced materials research tools based on X-ray technology; Bruker Optics which develops and provides research, analytical and process analysis instruments and solutions; and Bruker BioSpin now Bruker Corporation which supplies Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and research for model Magnetic Resonance Imaging instrumentation. The Bruker customers are companies under biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, semiconductors, chemicals, raw material manufacturers, academic institutions and other businesses. On 26-Feb-2008, the Group acquired Bruker Biospin Group and renamed itself as Bruker Corporation.
