Business Description
Cleco Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to generate, transmit, distribute and sell electric energy. The Group operates in two segments: Cleco Power and Midstream. Cleco Power is an integrated electric utility services subsidiary regulated by the Louisiana Public Service Commission and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that determines the rates the Group can charge its customers. Midstream is a merchant energy subsidiary that owns and operates merchant generation stations and invests in joint ventures that own and operate merchant generation stations.
