CVD Equipment Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to design, develop, manufacture, market, install and service equipment for the semiconductor industry. The Group operates in three segments: Stainless Design concepts, Chemical Vapor Deposition systems and Conceptronic. The products include chemical vapor deposition (CVD) equipment, Liquid Phase Epitaxial Deposition (LPE), Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP), customized gas control systems. The products of the Group are used to produce semiconductors and other electronic components. CVD is a process that passes a gaseous compound over a target material surface that is heated to such a degree that the compound decomposes and deposits a desired layer onto substrate material. It also provides semiconductor equipment consulting and refurbishing services. The customers of the Group include semiconductor, telecommunications and computer companies. The products are sold in the United States, Europe and Asia.
