Business Description
Caplease, Inc. Formerly known as Capital Lease Funding, Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to own and finance commercial real estate assets that are leased typically on a long-term basis to single tenants. It operates in two segments: operating real estate and Lending Investments. Operating real estate includes the investments in owned real properties and lending investments includes loan investments as well as investments in securities. The Group invests at all levels of the capital structure of net lease properties, including equity investments in real estate, debt investments and mezzanine investments secured by net lease real estate collateral. The Group intends to get qualified as a real estate investment trust.
