Business Description
Cresud Sa. The Group's principal activities are producing basic agricultural commodities such as crops, raising beef cattle and producing milk. Crops include wheat, corn, sunflower, soybean and sorghum. Beef cattle production involves the breeding and fattening of own animals. Milk production is located in 'La Juanita' and 'El Tigre' farms. The Group is also into acquiring, developing and exploring properties that are prospects for agricultural production. As of June 30, 2009 it has 25 farms with a total surface area of 484, 246 hectares. It is also involved in developing and managing shopping centers, sales of residential properties and hotel operations through its subsidiary, IRSA and is also involved in the consumer financing business through its subsidiary, Tarshop.
