Business Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. The Group's principal activities are to design, construct and sell single family houses in the United States. It has expanded its presence to include 75 markets in 27 states in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Southeast, Southwest and Western regions of the United States. The Group operates through six homebuilding segments and a financial services segment. Its homebuilding segments are: East, Midwest, Southeast, South Central, Southwest and West. The homebuilding segments are primarily engaged in the acquisition and development of land for residential purposes and the construction and sale of residential homes on such land. The financial services segment provides mortgage banking and title agency services to customers of the homebuilding segments. The Group operates only in the United States.
