Business Description
EVN Aktiengesellschaft(EVN). The Group's principal activity is the supply of electricity, natural gas, heat and water and provision of infrastructure services in Lower Austria. The Group operates in four segments: Electricity, Gas, Water and Heating and Others. The Electricity segment procures electricity form in-house generation and external sources, transportation and sale of electricity to domestic and industrial customers and electricity trading. The Gas segment procures and distributes gas. The Water segment supplies water to local authorities and end consumers. It also undertakes international project business in drinking and wastewater areas. The Heating and Other segment activity encompasses heating, waste incineration, etc. In 2008, The Group has acquired Tez Plovdid.
