Business Description
Epcos AG. The Group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market passive electronic components. The Group's activities are carried out through three divisions: Capacitors, Ceramic Components and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Components. The Capacitors division includes aluminum electrolytic capacitors, tantalum capacitors, film capacitors, power capacitors and ultra capacitors. The Ceramic Components division includes thermistors, sensors, varistors, multi layer ceramic capacitors, surge arresters and piezo actuators. The SAW Components division includes SAW components for televisions and audio applications, SAW filters for mobile phones, multimedia and automotive electronics. The Group operates in Germany, Austria, Rest of Europe, Asia and United States.
