Esterline Technologies Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market engineered products and systems for applications in aerospace and defense. It operates through three segments. Avionics & Controls business segment includes avionics systems, control systems, interface technologies and communication systems capabilities. Advanced Material develops and manufactures elastomer products used in a range of commercial aerospace, space, and military applications, and thermal components for commercial aerospace and industrial applications. It acquired NMC Group, Inc. on 15-Dec-2008 and Racal Acoustics Global Ltd. on 26-Jan-2009.
