Business Description
Flight Safety Technologies, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop technologies to enhance aviation safety and reduce efficiency. The Group develops three proprietary sensor technologies: AWSMTM, SOCRATES, UNICORN and TIICMTM. SOCRATES is designed to detect clear air turbulence, microbursts and aircraft generated vortices, which result in hazardous conditions to safe air travel. UNICORN is a technology that is being designed based upon an arrangement of radar, which gives both visual and audible warning indication of approaching aircraft to pilots. It is designed to provide a low-cost, combined, collision alerting and ground proximity warning capability for general aviation aircraft, including private, business and smaller regional and commercial aircraft. TIICMTM is a technology which protects airliners against terrorist threat. AWSMTM is developed into a system of sensors and other components to form a wake vortex avoidance system (WVAS).
