Business Description
Franklin Street Properties Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to own, operate, manage, lease, acquire and develop real estate properties. It operates in two business segments: Real estate operations and Investment Banking. Real estate operations include real estate leasing, interim acquisition financing and asset and property management, which generate rental income, loan origination fees and management fees respectively. Investment banking or investment services generate brokerage commissions and other fees related to the organization of single-purpose entities that own real estate and the private placement of equity in those entities.
