Business Description
Gateway Energy Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to own and operate natural gas gathering, transportation and distribution systems and related facilities in Texas and Oklahoma. It operates offshore in Texas and federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It operates in three segments: Onshore operations, Offshore operations and Net Profits Interest. The Onshore Operations include natural gas gathering, transportation and distribution activities in Texas. The Offshore Operations include natural gas and liquid hydrocarbon gathering and transportation activities in the Gulf of Mexico in Texas and Louisiana as well as federal waters. Net Profits Interest include the 9.1% net profits interest in the Madisonville Field. These systems include approximately 280 miles of pipeline ranging in diameter from 1 inch to 20 inches through which the Group gathers natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons from producing properties owned by others, transports gas and liquid hydrocarbons.
