Business Description
Global Partners L P. The Group' principal activities include the wholesale and commercial distribution of refined petroleum products, natural gas and ancillary services. The Group operates through two segments: Wholesale segment and Commercial segment. The Wholesale segment sells home heating oil, diesel, kerosene, unbranded gasoline and residual oil to wholesalers, retailers and commercial customers. The Commercial segment also deals in custom blended residual oil and distillates delivered by bunker barges or from a terminal dock. The Group sells its products to home heating oil retailers, retail gasoline station operators and wholesale distributors, the public sector and to large commercial and industrial customers. The Group has dedicated at 20 refined petroleum product bulk terminals, including 18 located throughout New England.
