Hertz Global Holdings, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is car and equipment rental. The Group operates in two Segments: Car Rental and Equipment Rental. Car Rental Segment accepts reservations for car rentals at approximately 8,100 locations in approximately 145 countries. Equipment Rental Segment rent equipment through approximately 345 branches in the United States, Canada, France, Spain and China, as well as through its international licensees. The Group has an extensive network of company-operated rental locations both in the United States and in all major European markets. Its equipment rental business also derives revenues from the sale of new equipment and consumables.
