Business Description
Hornbeck Offshore Services, Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to provide technologically advanced, new generation offshore supply vessels serving the offshore oil and gas industry. The Group operates in two segments:Upstream segment, formerly known as OSV segment, owns and operates one of the youngest and largest fleets of U.S flagged, new generation OSVs. Downstream segment, formerly known as TTB segment, owns and operates a fleet of ocean-going tugs and tank barges that transport petroleum products, primarily in the northeastern United States, the GoM, Great Lakes and Puerto Rico. The Group primarily operates in United States Gulf of Mexico and in selected international markets. The focus of our offshore supply vessel business is on complex exploration and production activities, which include deepwater, deep well and other logistically demanding projects.
