Inergy Holdings, L.P.. The Group's principal activity consists of its ownership interest in Inergy, L.P., including limited partnership interests, ownership of the general partners, and the incentive distribution rights. The Group operates through its subsidiary, Inergy, L.P. It operates through two segments: Propane operations and Midstream operations. The Group's operations include retail marketing, sale and distribution of propane to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers. It serves approximately 700,000 retail customers from over 300 customer service centers throughout the eastern half of the United States. The Group operates a 40 Bcf natural gas storage business; a liquid petroleum gas storage business; a solution-mining and salt production company; and a nationwide NGL supply logistics, transportation and wholesale marketing business that serve independent dealers and multi-state marketers across the United States.
