Business Description
Interstate Hotels & Resorts Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to manage, lease, operate a portfolio of hospitality properties and provide related services. The Group operates in two segments: Hotel Management and Hotel Ownership. The Hotel Management segment generates revenue from fees received for managing a portfolio of upscale, full-service and premium select-service hospitality properties. As on 31-Dec- 2008, the Group managed 226 hotel properties with 46,448 rooms and six ancillary service centers (which consist of a convention center, a spa facility, two restaurants and two laundry centers), in 37 states, the District of Columbia, Russia, Mexico, Canada, Belgium and Ireland.
