Jo-Ann Stores Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is to operate retailer of fabrics, serving customers and craft sewing, crafting, home decorating and other creative endeavors. It operates in three segments: Large-format store, Small-format store and Other. It operates through two product lines namely, Sewing and Non-sewing. It offers fabrics and sewing accessories in both our small-format and large-format stores. Its sewing, crafting and home decorating projects includes fabrics, notions, crafts, frames, paper crafting material, artificial floral, home accents, finished seasonal and home decor merchandise. As on 31-Jan-2009, the Group operates through 764 stores includes 554 small-format stores and 210 large-format stores in 47 states.
