K-Tron International, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture, market and service gravimetric and volumetric feeders, pneumatic conveying systems and related equipments. These equipments are used for handling bulk solids in industries such as plastics, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, electric utility and other manufacturing industries. It operates through two business units: Process Group and Size Reduction Group. The Process group designs, produces, markets, sells and services both feeders and pneumatic conveying equipment, and it markets and sells this equipment under two main brands: K-Tron Feeders and Premier Pneumatics. The Size reduction group design, manufacture, market and sell size reduction equipment, such as hammer mills, wood hogs and double roll crushers. The Group operates in two primary geographic locations, North and South America and Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. In 2007, the Group acquired Wuxi Chenghao and Rader.
