Business Description
Kansas City Southern. The Group's principal activity is to provide transportation holding company that has railroad investments in the US Mexico and Panama. It owns and operates rail network of main and branch lines that link key commercial and industrial markets in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It operates through its wholly-owned subsidiary Kansas City Southern Railway (KCSR). It offers services to a wide range of industries including the chemical and petroleum, paper and forest, agricultural and mineral, intermodal and automotive and coals. It's expanded rail network interconnects with all other Class I railroads and provides customers with an effective alternative to other railroad routes, giving direct access to Mexico and the southeastern and southwestern United States.
