Business Description
Laclede Group, Inc. (The). The Group's principal activities are distributing and transporting natural gas. The segments of the Group include: Regulated Gas Distribution and Non-Regulated Gas Marketing. The Regulated Gas Distribution segment is engaged in the retail distribution and sale of natural gas. The Non-Regulated Gas Marketing engaged in marketing natural gas to both on-system Utility transportation customers and customers outside the company's traditional service territory, including large retail and wholesale customer. The Group's primary subsidiary, Laclede Gas Company, serves 630,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in St. Louis and surrounding counties of eastern Missouri.
