Business Description
Lexington Realty Trust. The Group's principal activity is to acquire, own and manage a geographically diverse portfolio of net leased office, industrial and retail properties. It provides investment advisory and asset management services to institutional investors in the net lease area. It is a self-managed real estate investment trust under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The subsidiary of the Group, Lexington Realty Advisors Inc manages two properties for a third party. It manages its real estate and credit risk through geographic, industry and tenant and lease maturity diversification. The Group's properties are generally subject to triple net leases, which are characterized as leases. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group owned or had interests in approximately 225 properties in 41 states and the Netherlands.
