The Group's principal activities are to design and manufacture satellites and satellite systems for commercial and government applications. It also provides satellite services, television broadcasting, direct-to-home television services, broadband communications, military communications, wireless telephony, digital satellite radio, weather monitoring and air traffic management. Satellite Services include leasing transponder capacity to customers for distribution of network and cable television programming, direct-to-home video transmission and live video feeds from breaking news and sporting events and broadband data distribution. The customers of the Group are mainly located in the United States, Japan, Thailand, Spain, Mexico, China, Europe and Hong Kong.
