Marathon Oil Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to explore, produce, market and transport crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products. The Group's operations are carried out through four segments: Exploration and Production (E&P) explores, produces and markets liquid hydrocarbons and natural gas. Oil Sands Mining (OSM) mines, extracts and transports bitumen from oil sands deposits. Refining, Marketing and Transportation (RM&T) refines, markets and transports crude oil and petroleum products. Integrated Gas (IG) markets and transports products manufactured from natural gas. The Group operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, West Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Gabon.
