Business Description
Newpark Resources, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to provide drilling fluids, site access and environmental products and services to oil and gas exploration and production industry. It operates in two segments. The Fluids Systems and Engineering segment provides services for technical drilling projects such as horizontal drilling, geographically deep and deep water drilling. Mats and Integrated Services segment provides prefabricated interlocking mat systems for constructing drilling and work sites as well as environmental services. The Group provides products and services primarily to the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) industry in the U.S. Gulf Coast, West Texas, U.S. mid-continent, U.S. Rocky Mountains, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and areas of Europe and North Africa surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.
