Business Description
Nu Horizons Electronics Corp.. The Group's principal activity is to distribute high technology active and passive electronic components. It operates through two segments: active electronic components and passive components. The Group distributes a range of active electronic components including semiconductor products, as well as display, illumination, power and system products, to commercial and military original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the United States, Europe and Asia. It is a franchised distributor of active components for approximately 37 product lines. The passive components segment includes a high technology line of surface mount and leaded components including capacitors, resistors, inductors and circuit protection components. In Sep 2008, the Group acquired C-88, a franchised electronic components distributor based in Hoersholm, Denmark.
