Nyer Medical Group, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to own and to operate 21 retail pharmacies in the suburban Boston, Massachusetts area and to provide comprehensive pharmacy management services to two pharmacies owned by and located within not for profit community health centers. During 2008, the Group operated a medical and surgical equipment and supplies segment known as ADCO Surgical Supply Inc (ADCO) and ADCO South Medical Supplies Inc (ADCO South). ADCO engages in both the wholesale and retail selling of medical equipment and surgical supplies throughout New England and Florida. It sells the same products worldwide through its Internet site. In June 2008, the Group sold ADCO South. On 25-Sep-2008, the Group sold certain assets and liabilities of its remaining medical subsidiary, ADCO. ADCO retained the building, land and the line of credit. The Group operates throughout the United States.
