Business Description
OGE Energy Corporation. The Group's principal activity is providing energy services. It offers physical delivery and management of both electricity and natural gas in the south central United States. The Group operates through four business segments: The Group's business is divided into four segments: Electric utility, which is engaged in the generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy, natural gas transportation and storage, natural gas gathering and processing and natural gas marketing. On January 1, 2008, Enogex distributed the stock of OERI, which engages in the marketing of natural gas, to OGE Energy and, as a result, OERI is no longer a subsidiary of Enogex. Other Operations primarily included the operations of the holding company. The Group operates only in the United States of America.
