Business Description
Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. The Group's principal activity is to provide reinsurance services to property and casualty insurers and reinsurers. The Group is a holding company for reinsurance-related subsidiaries of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited. It approaches and conducts its business through four divisions: Americas, EuroAsia, London Market and U.S Insurance. The Americas division writes treaty property, general casualty, specialty casualty and facultative casualty reinsurance in the United States, Canada and Latin America. The London Market division primarily writes property, marine and aerospace reinsurance business as well as casualty and financial lines primary insurance. The EuroAsia division writes primarily treaty and facultative reinsurance property business. The U.S Insurance division provides speciality program insurance products. The Group operates in the United States, Latin America, Canada, Paris, Stockholm, Singapore and Tokyo.
