Osteotech, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are processing of human bone and connective tissue technologies for transplants and developing, manufacturing, and marketing biologic, biomaterial and device systems for musculoskeletal surgery. It has four operating segments: Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM), Traditional Tissue, Spinal Allograft, Client Services and Hybrid/Synthetics. The Tissue Segment provides processing of mineralized weight-bearing allograft bone tissue. Products and services are marketed primarily to the orthopaedic, spinal, neurological, oral/maxillofacial, dental and general surgery customers in the United States, Europe and Asia.
