PHI, Inc.. The Group's principal activitis are to explore, develop and produce oil and gas in the Gulf of Mexico. It provides helicopter transportation services, air medical transportation, helicopter maintenance and repair services. It operates in three segments: Oil and Gas, Air Medical and Technical Services.Oil and Gas segment provides helicopter services for the major oil and gas production companies transporting personnel and/or equipment to offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, Angola, and the Democratic Republic of Congo and currently operates 153 aircraft. AirMedical segment provides air medical transportation services for hospitals and emergency service agencies and operates as an independent provider of medical services in 17 states using approximately 90 aircraft at 73 separate locations.The Technical Services segment provides helicopter repair and overhaul services for flight operations customers that own their aircraft.
