Business Description
PNM Resources, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to generate, transmit, distribute and sell electricity and natural gas through its subsidiaries. The operations are conducted through two business units: Utility Operations segment include Electric Services, Gas Services and Transmission Services. Electric consists of the generation and distribution of electricity for retail electric customers in north central New Mexico, including the COA and the City of Santa Fe, and certain other areas of New Mexico. Gas consists of the transportation and distribution of natural gas to end-users of the major communities in New Mexico. Transmission consists of the transmission of electricity for third parties as well as for Electric and Wholesale. Wholesale consists of the generation and sale of electricity into the wholesale market based on three product lines, that include long-term contracts, forward sales and short-term sales.
