Business Description
PS Business Parks, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is that of a Real Estate Investment Trust. It is a fully-integrated, self-advised and self-managed real estate investment trust ("REIT") which acquires, develops, owns and operates commercial properties, primarily multi-tenant flex, office and industrial space. The Group has been approved as a Real Estate Investment Trust under sections 856 through 860 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The Group's portfolio includes leasing of commercial property. On 30-Sep-2008, the Group owned and operated approximately 19.6 million rentable square feet of commercial space located in eight states: Arizona, California, Florida, Maryland, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and Washington. It also manages approximately 1.4 million rentable square feet on behalf of PS and its affiliated entities.
