Business Description
Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to distribute natural gas to residential, commercial, industrial and power generation customers. It has interstate natural gas storage and intrastate natural gas transportation. The Group also sells residential and commercial gas appliances in Tennessee and provides wholesale natural gas service to Greenville, Monroe, Rocky Mount, Wilson. It has two business segments, regulated utility and non-utility activities. The non-utility activities segment are comprised of equity method investments in joint ventures. The regulated utility activities includes purchasing of gas and sell the gas.
