Business Description
Platina Energy Group Inc.. The Group's principal activity is engaging in oil and gas exploration and development. Its operations focus on oil & gas properties located in the States of Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky and Wyoming. It has exclusive representation, marketing and distribution rights to a proprietary Thermal Pulse Dynamic Unit (TPU) technology used for heavy oil recovery. In addition, on 31-Mar-2008, the Group acquired certain rights to inline Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and jet pumps when it acquired from UTEK Corp complete ownership of its subsidiary, Enhanced Oil Recovery Technologies Inc. On 01-Jan-2008, it also acquired from Energas Resources Inc all of the outstanding shares of TGI Inc, whose assets include drilling permits and bonding relating to oil and gas properties. As of 31-Mar-2008, the Group owned natural gas and oil leasehold interests in approximately 8,600 gross acres, as wells as working interests in 73 gross wells. The Group is based in Dallas, Texas.
